H. Hasanguliyev: Europe and Iran support Armenia

Europeans did not demonstrate a position in support of Azerbaijan at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly seminar, Azerbaijani parliamentary deputy Hudrat Hasanguliyev told SalamNews agency.

In his words, “Europe is trying to use Russia to resolve the Karabakh conflict in favor of Armenia and to cause a quarrel between official Moscow and Baku”. According to Hasanguliyev, the reason for such a policy is “Christian solidarity”.

The deputy also said that those in Europe know that because of Iranian Azerbaijan issue, Tehran gives all-round support to Yerevan.

“Turkey is also expanding its ties with that country day by day. In fact, Azerbaijan remains alone in the region,” H. Hasanguliyev said.
