Edward Nalbandyan receives Spanish Senate member

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received today the member of the Spanish Senate Urko Aiartza Azurtza and the head of European Friends of Armenia organization Lorenzo Ochoa, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

E. Nalbandyan stressed the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the development of bilateral relations. He hailed the Spanish senator’s visit to Artsakh, noting that such visits allow receiving first-hand information about the Nagorno Karabakh problem.

Senator Azurtza thanked the foreign minister, saying the trips to Armenia and Artsakh were important to him. He assured E. Nalbandyan that he will continue his work to strengthen and deepen the Armenian-Spanish relations.

Edward Nalbandyan presented the efforts of Armenia and the international community on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The sides exchanged views on Armenia-European Union cooperation.
