Haykakan Zhamanak: Apricots sold by the piece in Yerevan

Due to spring frosts, apricots prices have jumped so much in Armenia that apricots are currently sold by the piece in Yerevan – 80 drams apiece, according to ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily. A kilogram of apricots cost 2,500 drams in the city yesterday. Many shops sell imported apricots, not domestically grown ones.
