Two earthquakes hit Armenia in last 24 hours
A magnitude 4 earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit 13 km southwest of the city of Vanadzor at 3:08 am on July 7. Tremors measuring 3-4 were felt on Lori and Aragatsotn provinces of Armenia. Four 0.8-1.2 magnitude aftershocks were also recorded.
According to Armenia’s Seismic Protection Service, earlier a magnitude 3 earthquake hit 7 km south of Vanadzor at 11:13 am on July 6. The quake in Vanadzor measured 3-4 on the Richter scale.
