Fire destroys wagon shelters and tractor in Yerevan landfill

Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information late Sunday that fire broke out in the landfill of Haghtanak neighborhood in Yerevan.

8 fire brigades, a rescue team and a rapid response group were sent to the scene, MES said.

The fire was extinguished at 5:17 am on Monday morning. The fire destroyed construction waste and household rubbish in an area of one hectare, two wagon shelters, wooden structures of a half-built stone building, and an unused tractor.
