S. Ohanyan visits wounded soldiers in military hospital

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan went today to Central Clinical Military Hospital of Defense Ministry. He was accompanied by parliamentary vice speaker Hermine Naghdalyan and deputies Ruzanna Muradyan, Heghine Bisharyan and Karine Poghosyan, according to the press service of Defense Ministry.

Ohanyan visited the servicemen who received gunshot wounds in the recent incidents due to ceasefire violations.

 The defense minister and the deputies spoke to the soldiers receiving treatment, inquired about their health and expressed support to the parents of the servicemen who displayed heroism during the defense of the Homeland.

The defense minister handed the Medal for Courage to Private Norayr Kamalyan. The medal was awarded to the soldier by a decree of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan for his courage and devotion during the defense of the country’s borders.

The soldiers in the hospital also received watches engraved with their names.
