Azerbaijani troops continue to violate ceasefire

On August 7 and early August 8 the Azerbaijani armed forces violated 31 times the ceasefire at various sections of the state border with Armenia, according to the press service of Armenian Defense Ministry.

Over 4000 shots were fired from guns of various calibers at Armenian positions.

The Armenian side returned the fire 5 times, 1425 shots were fired.

The Armenian side did not suffer casualties.

“Armenian troops strictly observe the ceasefire and resort to retaliatory measures only in case of aimed fire of the enemy,” Defense Ministry said.
