Hraparak: Chinari resident taken captive after he went to gather wood

A resident of Chinari village in Armenia’s Tavush province, Karen Petrosyan, was taken captive by Azerbaijanis yesterday.

“According to neighbors, he went to a forest to gather wood and probably lost his way. We had warned all residents of the village to be cautious. I can’t understand why he did it,” village administrator Samvel Saghoyan told ‘Hraparak’ paper.

Defense Ministry and Yerevan Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross were notified of the incident.
