Armenia, Karabakh ready to defend independence and security together

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received today a delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. The delegation is composed of several parliamentary deputies and government members.

Issues related to economic cooperation of the two Armenian states were discussed, according to the press service of the NKR President Office.

Special attention was paid to the situation on the border. Both sides said that Armenia and NKR are committed to a peaceful resolution of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, but, if necessary, they are ready to defend together the security and independence of the two countries, the honor and dignity of the Armenian people.

Speaker of the NKR parliament Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, other officials were present at the meeting.
