7.0-magnitude quake strikes Peru

A 7.0-magnitude quake struck southern Peru on Sunday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported, according to CNN.

The quake struck 36 miles east-northeast of Tambo at a depth of 37 miles, according to the USGS.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
