Aronian loses to Carlsen in round 5 of Saint Louis tournament

Armenian GM Levon Aronian has competed unsuccessfully in recent rounds of the Saint Louis chess tournament. He lost to Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Fabiano Caruana and Magnus Carlsen.

Caruana is the leader of the tournament. Aronian has earned 1.5 points and shares 5th-6th places with Hikaru Nakamura.
