Azerbaijani citizen detained while crossing state border of NKR

Around 6:10 pm on September 5, servicemen of the Defense of Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic detained Azerbaijani citizen Javid Samiroglu Mamedov who made an attempt to cross the state border of NKR in the northeastern direction (Varin Chaylu) of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of NKR and Azerbaijan, the press office of Defense Ministry of the NKR said.

The Stepanakert Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was notified of the incident. Javid Mamedov was handed over to the appropriate bodies of NKR.
