Jordanian ambassador presents copies of credentials to Nalbandyan

The newly-appointed Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Armenia Mohammad Nour Othman Yousef Balkar presented copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

Nalbandyan expressed hope that Ambassador Balkar (his diplomatic residence is in Tashkent) will contribute to the further deepening and development of traditionally friendly Armenian-Jordanian relations.

The ambassador said he will take efficient steps to expand bilateral cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed in detail the preparatory work for the Armenian president’s visit to Jordan and the process of drafting the documents to be signed during the visit.

An exchange of opinions took place about Middle East developments and efforts aimed at resolution of the Syrian crisis and cessation of violence in Northern Iraq.

Edward Nalbandyan presented the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy and the approaches of Armenia to solution of regional problems.
