NKR hands over underage frontier violator to Azerbaijan

Displaying their goodwill and commitment to the Geneva conventions, the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic – with the assistance of the Stepanakert Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross – handed over Muzafarzade Javid Samir-ogly to representatives of Azerbaijan, the NKR State Commission for POWs, Hostages and Missing Persons said. Muzafarzade Javid Samir-ogly, a 15-year-old resident of the city of Mir Bashir, crossed the state border of the NKR in Martakert region on September 5, 2014 and was detained by the appropriate bodies of the NKR.

The handover took place at 3:04 pm local time on September 11 at a section of the NKR-Azerbaijan border, near the village of Bash Karvend.
