OSCE hopes for intense negotiations on Karabakh settlement
The OSCE hopes for the participation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict parties in intense negotiations, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Didier Burkhalter said during his recent regional trip, as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk told Azerbaijan’s Trend news agency on Monday. According to him, any initiatives and efforts of the sides aimed at advancing the process will get a positive assessment.
The OSCE presented its proposals to the sides, urging them to start intense negotiations, and now the sides should take the necessary steps to advance the process, Kasprzyk said, noting that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs are ready to assist the conflicting parties.
He positively assessed the meetings of Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Sochi and Wales. A. Kasprzyk expressed hope that the dialog will continue at the meeting at the French president’s invitation.
