Special sitting of NA not held again due to HHK faction absence

A special sitting of Armenia’s National Assembly to be convened at the initiative of a third of NA deputies did not take place today due to lack of a quorum: only 37 MPs got registered, the parliamentary speaker Galust Sahakyan said.

“There is no quorum to hold a special sitting of the parliament. The sitting will not take place,” Sahakyan announced.

As was reported earlier, a special sitting of NA was to be held today at the initiative of four non-coalition parliamentary factions.
