Suspect in Tevosik murder case released on his recognizance

Tigran Asatryan arrested in connection with murder of the brother of underworld leader Tevosik (Arthur Safaryan) has been released, Asatryan’s lawyer Varduhi Elbakyan told ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily.

‘His measure of restraint was changed yesterday. Asatryan’s arrest term expired on October 8. Cognizance not to leave the city was chosen this time. The preliminary investigation body established that there are no grounds for keeping him in custody. The case is still being investigated. No final decision was made,” the lawyer said.
