Abrahamyan: Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan shouldn’t be compared
Armenia is facing a lot of problems, but it does not mean that demands for a change of power should be made every time, the President of the Union of Armenians in Russia and the World Armenian Congress Ara Abrahamyan told reporters today when speaking about the demands of Prosperous Armenia Party, the Armenian National Congress and Heritage Party.
“The Armenian president is doing his best so that the country will be stable politically and economically, but I did not hear the other parties say anything new, which the president did not say,” Abrahamyan noted.
As regards Gagik Tsarukyan’s chances to win the presidential election in 2018, Ara Abrahamyan described Tsarukyan as a patriot and good businessman who is concerned about stability in Armenia.
When asked if Gagik Tsarukyan can become a worthy successor of Serzh Sargsyan, Ara Abrahamyan replied that each of them has his own place and there is no need to compare them.
