Street in Yerevan to be named after film director Henri Verneuil

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan received today Patrick Malakyan, the son of famous French film director of Armenian descent Henri Verneuil, according to the press department of Yerevan Municipality.

Taron Margaryan said he is glad to see Patrick Malakian in Yerevan and discuss with him the details of the unveiling of Henri Verneuil Street in Yerevan. The unveiling will take place next year and a number of famous representatives of French cinema, as well as numerous friends and fans of Henri Verneuil expressed a wish to attend the ceremony.

Patrick Malakian expressed his gratitude for the initiative to name a street in Yerevan after his father.
