Inmate accuses prison administrators of bribery

An inmate of “Kosh” penal institution accused prison administrators of bribery, according to the press service of the Special Investigatory Service of Armenia. The inmate said the penal institution’s heads accepted large bribes from convicts in return for protection.

A criminal case was opened under Article 311 part 4 point 2 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
