Yerevan to host first Armenian-Russian healthcare forum
The first Armenian-Russian healthcare forum will open in the session hall of the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts after Mesrop Mashtots on November 7. A delegation led by Russian Health Minister Veronica Skvortsova will arrive in Yerevan to participate in the forum, according to the press service of Armenian Health Ministry.
Three memoranda of understanding will be signed between the ministries concerning turnover of medicines, medical equipment and biological active additives, progressive medical advance, as well as electronic healthcare and information exchange between the healthcare systems.
The forum participants will discuss issues aiming to improve the quality of and increase access to health care, etc.
The event’s organizers are Health Ministries of Armenia and Russia, Russian Embassy in Armenia, and Armenian Embassy in Russia.
