Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan elected new primate of French Diocese

Elections of the new primate took place during the assembly of delegates of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church held in the St. Hovhannes Mkrtich Cathedral in Paris on November 1, according to the information services of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The Primate of the British Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan was elected out of three candidates by a majority of the votes.
