Parliamentary delegation of Armenia to visit Czech Republic
An Armenian delegation led by Vice Speaker of National Assembly Edward Sharmazanov on March 8 went on a three-day official visit to the Czech Republic, the press service of the National Assembly said. The delegation is composed of MP, ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction member Artsvik Minasyan and the chief of the parliamentary staff Hrayr Tovmasyan.
Today, the delegation will attend the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the front-page coverage of the Armenian Genocide in the world press. On the same day, the delegation will meet with Jan Bartošek, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
Tomorrow Edward Sharmazanov will deliver a lecture at a conference at Charles University in Prague, titled “The Crime of Genocide: The Legal and Political Aspects.”
The Armenian delegation is expected to meet with Zdeněk Škromach, Vice President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
