Filing criminal case not a verdict yet: SRC chairman on Gazprom Armenia case

The planned audit in Gazprom Armenia company revealed certain circumstances that needed criminal-legal assessment, State Revenue Committee chairman Davit Ananyan said at a briefing today.

He stressed that the revelations of abuses have been submitted to the SRC investigative department and a report has been made for conduction of further audit. A criminal case has been filed over the report.

Ananyan though stressed that “filing criminal case is not a verdict yet.”

“Filing criminal case allows undertaking actions which are not possible in the sidelines of audit only,” Ananyan said.
