Armenia’s 2018 economic growth makes 5,8%

The economic growth in Armenia in 2018 made 5,8%. According to the National Statistical Service the foreign trade turnover totaled $7 billion 371,1 million. The growth made 16,4%.

Exports have grown by 7,8% making $2 billion 411,9 million AMD  and the imports have increased  by 21,1%, totaling $4 billion 963,2 million AMD.

The industrial production has grown by 4,3% making 1 trillion 737 billion 685,6 million AMD.

The agricultural productivity has declined by 7,7% totaling 889 billion 708,6 million AMD.

In the construction sector the growth made 4,5% making 422 billion 302 million AMD while the growth in trade made 8,7% making 2 trillion 931 billion 494,8 million AMD.

Growth in service totaled 18,8% or 1 trillion 764 billion 751,2 million AMD.

Production of energy has grown by 0,2% making 7 billion 776,9 million kw-h.

Consumer prices increased by 2,5%.

The 2018 state budget envisaged 4,5% GDP growth.
