Son of Armenia’s second president satisfied with court’s ruling

Levon Kocharyan, son of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan, is satisfied with the decision of the court.

“I am satisfied as much as now my father will be in freedom. We consider his being in custody for months as illegal,” Levon Kocharyan told the reporters.

The court ruled to change Kocharyan’s preventive measure from arrest into release against guarantees.

“The court decided to change the arrest as Robert Kocharyan’s preventive measure and select personal guarantees for release,” judge Davit Grigoryan stated.
