The Rule of Law and separation of powers must be respected: EPP president

In view of the calls for a radical reform of Armenia’s judiciary, Armenian authorities must guarantee that any reform will prioritize the independence of the justice system as a key principle of a democratic society, EPP president Joseph Daul wrote in Twitter microblog.

“In view of the calls for a radical reform of Armenia’s judiciary, Armenian authorities must guarantee that any reform will prioritize the independence of the justice system as a key principle of a democratic society. The rule of law and the separation of powers must be respected,” Daul stated.
