He said in the first phase the 10 families whose houses are on the highest landslide zone will get compensation from the state budget’s reserve fund, in the second phase the other 49 families will receive compnesation and in the third another 47 families.
Besides, a task group will be set up to assess the needs of the residents living on the landslide zone.
Speaking to Aysor.am, head of Voghjaberd community Norik Melkonyan said that there are people who suspected that their houses will not be involved in the list.
“Studies will be made and the number of breakaway houses may either grow or reduce, the 10 mentioned in the first phase is not final number,” the head of the community said.
Asked about the compensation, Melkonyan said the houses are not subjected to reconstruction.
“The government must decide, proposal be voiced, the amount of the sum decided and only than everything will become clear. After receiving the sum the families may reach arrangement with an organization to build a multi-apartment building,” he said.
