Armenian-Russian relations receive new dynamics after change of power in Armenia: Nikol Pashinyan
Armenian-Russian relations have received new dynamics after the political changes in Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“Since my election in the post of the prime minister a new dynamics appeared in our relations. Recently we have reached arrangement over my official visit to Russia next year to be followed by the official visit of the Russian president to Armenia,” Pashinyan said.
He also voiced hope that the trade turnover between Armenia and Russia will reach 2 billion USD.
“All this creates important prerequisites for the further development of allied, strategic relations between our countries. I am convinced that your visit will give new impetus to the enhancement of bilateral relations. I am very optimistic regarding the future development of our relations,” Pashinyan said.
