Legal demand of students to meet with Arayik Harutyunyan had bad influence on police officers: Naira Zohrabyan
Prosperous Armenia faction lawmaker Naira Zohrabyan referred in Facebook post to the young people from the ARF-D youth union taken to police departments on Tuesday.
“It appears that the legitimate demand of the students to meet with Arayik Harutyunyan, having the ministry with a very long name has had a negative effect on the police. The latter, in accordance with the rules of today’s genre, laid the students on asphalt. Obviously non-appropriate force was used against the students who just wanted to meet with their democratic, people’s authorities’ minister,” Zohrabyan wrote.
“One of the police officers considered the usage of force appropriate, saying that such street must not be closed by 20 people. It currently remains to demand a road map from the police to find out what street and how many people may close to avoid people on asphalts and walls,” she wrote.
