Citizens more concerned with unemployment issue, less with corruption: Gallup International sums up poll results

According to the results of polls conducted in Armenia in November by Gallup International Association, the 20,7% of respondents are fully satified with their life, 57,5% are more satisfied than not and 10,5% are dissatisfied.

Five percent of the respondents assessed their material situation as very good, 22,9% good and 59,3% average.

Aram Navasardyan, director of MPJ company, member of the Gallup International Association, said 2,8% of respondents assessed Armenia’s situation as very good, 16,3% good, 54% average.

Some 25,5% of respondents hailed the activity of the opposition, while 61,2 assessed it as negative. Some 43,1% assessed the work of the National Assembly as positive, 54,9% approed the work of the government and 83% considered the work of the president as positive.

Some 83,2% approved the activity of the prime minister.

Among the existing three key issues, 34,1% of the respondents mentioned unemployment, another 34,1% mentioned low pensions, 32,8% the economic situation, 24,1% Nagorno-Karabakh issue, 15,2% the bad situation in the education sector, 10,3% are dissatisfied with the health sector, 7,7% mentioned emigration, 7,4% expressed concern over the foreign and defense policies, 7,2% mentioned inflation and growth of prices, 7% mentioned corruption.
