CC can hardly be a reason of lack of investments in Armenia: ex-official
Former deputy prime minister Vache Gabrielyan speaking at the Pressing program said he is not of the opinion that the Constitutional Court has any influence on the investments. The response came to the question on why no investments are being made in Armenia and what relation Hrayr Tovmasyan has to it as the authorities claim that the solution of the crisis in Constitutional Court will result in investment flow.
“I do not think that the CC influences the investments. Currently there are no big projects yet. To speak frankly, I would not like to tie the absence of investments with the economic policy as we have always had reduction or lack of investments from 2008 incessantly. The biggest boom was registered in 2007 when enough money was coming to particularly real estate market. After it we had an activation in 2016-2017 when bigger programs were discussed and there was interest of particularly Russian capital in it,” Vache Gabrielyan said.
