Government-designed draft, opinion of Venice Commission consistent: Minister of Justice

The proposed model of constitutional amendments is consistent with the opinion of the Venice Commission, Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan stated at the NA today.

“The opinion of the Venice Commission and the draft brought by the authorities are fully consistent regarding the wish of the authorities to bring into life the model of Constitutional Court of 2015,” the minister said, adding that there is also an agreement in conceptual regard of the main provisions.
