Chief of General of Staff of Armenian Armed Forces meets U.S. Ambassador to Armenia

Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, General-Lieutenant Onik Gasparyan received today U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy and embassy’s Military Attache, Colonel Scott Maxwell.

During the meeting the parties referred to the issues on Armenian-U.S. bilateral cooperation in defense sector, implemented events.

They also referred to the increase of tension on Armenian-Azerbaijani border from July 12 and the current situation on the border.

The interlocutors also received to the future cooperation programs and outlined the issues of mutual interest.
