Court perceives prosecutors objection as veto: Kocharyan’s lawyer
The court fully comes from position of accuser, lawyer of Armenia’s second president Hayk Alumyan said at a press conference today.
“There is a clear impression that the prosecutors of this case have right for veto of the discussed issues. If they object any proposal or petition, the court views their objection as veto after which it is already unable to make any other decision than the accusers already voiced,” Alumyan said.
He noted that throughout this time the only petition the court upheld, besides the ones about declaring breaks, was to allow Seyran Ohanyan leave Armenia for short period of time.
“After each petition the prosecutors object, the objection of the prosecutors is not a problem, it is their work to object, the problem is that the court perceives their objection as veto,” Kocharyan’s lawyer said.
