Artsakh MFA: Azerbaijan once again proves that it is a rogue state that does not keep its obligations

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh issued a statement on a violation of the humanitarian ceasefire by Azerbaijan.

"We strongly condemn the blatant violation of the humanitarian ceasefire, reached with the mediation of the Russian Federation for the exchange of prisoners of war and bodies of the dead, by Azerbaijan.

Especially heinous is the fact that the Azerbaijan -Turkey – international terrorism Troika alliance has attacked immediately after the announcement made by the Defense Army of Artsakh about the implementation of the ceasefire. By this action Azerbaijan once again has proven that it is a rogue state that does not keep its obligations, even for 5 minutes. 

Today’s blatant attack convincingly proves that Azerbaijan views the negotiations as a cover to prepare itself for further military actions.

Under the given circumstances, the international community can stop this rogue state only in one way: to recognize the Republic of Artsakh. This will allow the implementation of the necessary legal mechanisms that will guarantee peace and security for our Republic and for the entire region," the statement said.
