France does not recognize the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, French MFA representative said in a statement.

"On November 25, the Senate passed a resolution calling on the French authorities to recognize the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. During the debate prior to the vote, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State at the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, reminded the French government’s position on the issue,” the statement said.

"France does not recognize the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic," the statement said.
