Azerbaijan wants to show that conflict is over, we show there are still unresolved issues - Armenian delegation head

Armenian side offered to make the issue of Armenian prisoners of war a current discussion topic in PACE. The proposal was though denied, head of Armenian delegation to PACE Ruben Rubinyan told the reporters today, stressing that the top issue in the PACE now is Navalny.

Rubinyan said they though succeeded to make the issue of Armenian prisoners of war topic of discussions on all the possible levels.

“During this session the goal of the Azerbaijani delegates was to show that the conflict has ended and there is no issue. Our goal was to show that there are concrete issues and Azerbaijan violates the provision of the statement according to which the prisoners of war and other captives must be returned,” Rubinyan said.

He stressed the first cases of international pressures are already recorded.
