Authorities want to merge General Staff with Ministry of Defense – Edmon Marukyan

Bright Armenia faction head Edmon Marukyan speaking to reporters today said that according to the information he has, some people from My Step are preparing constitutional amendments to merge the General Staff with the Ministry of Defense.

“I looked in the Constitution and saw that they cannot do it by parliament, without referendum, therefore, it is another issue for the authorities,” Marukyan said.
