Azerbaijani side hands over a body to the Armenian side

The body search operation conducted today in Jrakan (Jabrayil) region gave no results. Later the Azerbaijani side handed over to the Armenian side a body in Varanda (Fizuli) region.

According to preliminary information, the body is of participant of the military actions – serviceman, volunteer or reservist. Forensic examination will be conducted to reveal the identity of the deceased.

So far 1,530 bodies were found or handed over to the Armenian side, 27 of them are reported to be civilians.

The body search works will continue tomorrow in Jrakan (Jabrayil) region.
