Kocharyan explains his return with bad situation in the country

During the meeting with his supporters Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan said he does not consider himself a political figure but more a state figure.

Asked why he decided to return, Kocharyan said, “Why I come back, because they made me come back. If the country’s situation was good I would have never thought of it. Because I was thinking that I have found my place. But to stay indifferent, stand aside saying, all right someone will solve the issue…I don’t see that [someone] will solve,” the second president said.

He stressed that with his biography, experience and knowledge he is the person to save the country from such situation.
