Second batch of AstraZeneca vaccine reaches Armenia

The second batch of the AstraZeneca vaccine – 50,000 doses – reached Armenia in the sidelines of fighting against COVID-19, Armenia’s Ministry of Health reports.

“To assist Armenia in the supply of vaccines UNICEF applied its experience – delivering COVID-19 vaccine doses on behalf of the biggest purchaser of vaccines in the world – COVAX initiative,” UNICEF representative in Armenia Yuri Oksamitniy noted.
