Arca National Payment System, Bank of Georgia and Ameriabank signed a memorandum of understanding

Within the framework of the international PLUS forum held in Yerevan, Arca national payment system, Bank of Georgia JSC and Ameriabank signed a memorandum of understanding.

The purpose of the memorandum is to define the scope of cooperation between the parties aimed at ensuring the interoperability of ArcaPay and Bank of Georgia instant transfer systems. The initiative will enable instant money transfers from Armenia to Georgia and vice versa, increasing the availability and speed of payment services.

In addition, it is planned to establish a host-to-host connection between the Arca processing center and the Georgian Card, making it possible to provide service for Arca payment system cards in Georgia. This cooperation was made possible thanks to the active role of Ameriabank, the clearing bank, which will ensure efficient and safe servicing of the clearing flows of the parties.

The initiative aims to ensure the interoperability of payment infrastructures between the two countries and to form a qualitatively new level of cooperation in both card and non-card transactions.
