Alen Simonyan raises the issue of Armenian captives in Azerbaijan with the Greek Foreign Minister

The delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, who is on an official visit to Greece, met with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis.

During the meeting the interlocutors focused on the issues on bilateral relations, Armenia-EU cooperation, the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and other regional developments. Particular attention was given to the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative and the Crossroads of Peace program.

Alen Simonyan also drew the Greek Foreign Minister’s attention to the situation of Armenian captives held in Azerbaijan, including illegally detained individuals and missing persons.
