Gyumri deputy mayor arrested, then released

Media reports stated that Gyumri deputy mayor and acting mayor Avetis Arakelyan, along with Artyom Chadryan, head of the Utilities Department, had been arrested.

Speaking to Pastinfo, Gyumri Municipality spokesperson Lilit Aghekyan confirmed that deputy mayor Arakelyan has already been released.

“I do not have information about the grounds,” she added.
