The attack against Mihran Hakobyan clearly shows intolerance toward free speech in the country: Tigran Abrahamyan

The attack on former MP Mihran Hakobyan clearly reflects the nature of the “bandit regime” operating in the country and its intolerance toward free speech, stated Tigran Abrahamyan, Secretary of the National Assembly’s “I Have Honor” faction.

“This attack in broad daylight, in a crowded area and carried out by masked individuals, shows that lawlessness has reached an unprecedented level in the Republic of Armenia. The more the government’s tyranny and aggressive stance intensify, the more such crimes are being encouraged,” he said.

Public figure Mihran Hakobyan was attacked in the parking lot of Dalma Mall. The assailants, wearing masks, approached him from behind. He sustained injuries and was taken to Izmirlyan Medical Center.
