Narek Samsonyan: The regime in Armenia is the sole responsible for the attack on Mihran Hakobyan

Narek Samsonyan – head of the “Civic Consciousness” NGO, founder of AntiFake.am, co-author and host of the “Imnemnimi” podcast, and currently a political prisoner – has expressed support for public figure Mihran Hakobyan from the Armavir Penitentiary Institution.

“The sole party responsible for the cowardly attack on Mihran Hakobyan is the regime in Armenia and its leader.

The next stage of the legal permissiveness established in Armenia is logically going to be a series of physical reprisals against opponents in the streets. Overall, the regime is rapidly descending into total dictatorship, for which its leader will pay a very high price.

Today’s Western solidarity with the regime’s hyenas, in the logic of a ‘double-edged sword’, will turn against the regime and its leader overnight. Muammar Gaddafi enjoyed the approval of the governments of Great Britain, France and even the United States for decades while committing atrocities in Libya, but one day that carte blanche ended. By the way, today former French President Nicolas Sarkozy was convicted by a French court on charges of corrupt ties with Gaddafi.

I am more than certain that in Armenia as well, the supply of Western political blindness will one day run out, and all those responsible for what is happening in our country today will be held accountable.

I express my support to Mihran Hakobyan. I am sure that if the attack had not been hyena-like, from behind, sudden and carried out by several people, the perpetrators of this crime would have suffered greater injuries.
