Spokesperson: The small group is lying again – Samvel Karapetyan’s photo at the Armenian Cultural Center was presented as being inside a church

The small group is once again spreading falsehoods and attempting to divide Armenian society, stated Marianna Ghahramanyan, spokesperson for the “Our Way” popular movement.

“The photograph expressing support for national benefactor Samvel Karapetyan, which was placed on the wall of the Armenian Cultural Center operating next to the Holy Transfiguration Church of the Armenian Patriarchate of Moscow, was presented by the government mouthpiece T.Ch. as though it had been posted on the wall of the church itself. Knowing the reality, yet he deliberately lies to Armenian society. If they are lying about something as simple as this, imagine how they are deceiving our people on far more serious matters.

Samvel Karapetyan has invested tens of millions of dollars in the construction of the Church, which plays a vital role in preserving the national and spiritual values of the Armenian community and supporting its institutional life.

Meanwhile, Pashinyan is attempting to dismantle the existing church system.

It is clear why the small group that has turned the Republic of Armenia into an auction house is in turmoil – they understand that change is inevitable.
