Pontifical Residence is the Catholicos’ workplace - your photos will never be there: Alik Aleksanyan to the authorities

Alik Aleksanyan, a member of the coordinating council of the “Our Way” popular movement, published a video on his Facebook page in which he addressed the authorities.

“The Pontifical Residence is an administrative building; church ceremonies are never held there. It is the workplace of His Holiness, and according to long-established church traditions, the portraits of benefactors of the Armenian Apostolic Church are placed on its walls. Do not be upset, but know for sure that your photos will never appear there,” Aleksanyan said.
