There can be no NATO presence in Armenia: Sargis Khandanyan

There can be no NATO presence in Armenia, Sargis Khandanyan, a member of the Civil Contract Party and Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, told reporters.

“Armenia has no ambitions to join NATO,” Khandanyan stated.

According to the Civil Contract representative, Armenia simply maintains a defined framework of cooperation with NATO; however, this does not in any way imply a physical NATO presence in Armenia.
